FAQ’S
ORDER PROCESS
Once a Customer places an order with La Maison Noire Interiors the customer will receive an email receipt to acknowledge La Maison Noire Interiors has received your order. Please note that this email is not an order acceptance from us and at this stage, no contract has yet been formed between us.
Credit card payments - orders will only be processed and shipped to the same shipping address as billing address. Photographic ID must be provided for all orders over £1,500.
Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email, constituting a formal acceptance of your order; this forms a binding contract between us.
Subject to availability, we will aim to dispatch your order within 7working days of its receipt and once payment has been approved.
For pre-order items please allow 8-14 weeks.
For LMN Bespoke bedding made to order please allow up to 14 working days.
SHIPPING - UK
For UK mainland customers, shipping rates are calculated during checkout and vary depending upon the weight and complexity of the item.
Smaller items are shipped via UPS and delivered within 4 -7 working days.
TO PLACE AN ORDER FOR LARGER ITEMS/FURNITURE - REQUEST A QUOTE FOR DELIVERY
Please contact info@lamaisonnoireinteriors.com for a quotation for delivery via courier ahead of placing your order. After you have placed your order an invoice will be emailed to you to arrange payment for the shipment separately.
The courier will be responsible for the insurance whilst items are in transit.
If a large item is purchased via our website without confirming and agreeing to the courier fee we reserve the right to cancel your order.
Should your order not be successfully delivered and returned to LMN, an additional delivery fee will be charged to deliver your order.
SHIPPING - REST OF THE WORLD
Smaller items - shipping rates are calculated during checkout and vary depending upon the weight and complexity of the item.
Larger items - Shipping must be arranged by the customer.

Please note, La Maison Noire is not liable for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties. Items will not be released for delivery or collection until all payments have cleared.

For the avoidance of doubt, we will not be liable for any export or import duties and taxes.
REFUND POLICY
Contemporary & La Maison Noire Interiors - Returnable
If your purchase does not fulfil your requirements we can provide a full refund of the purchase price (excluding all transportation costs), providing the item is returned to us in it's original condition, unused, not damaged and packaged using the same material it arrived in and returned within 14 days of your receipt of it.
Sustainable Living - None returnable
Sustainable Living products are antique or vintage and are often handmade resulting in natural defects. Please be welcoming of preloved flaws on such rare and one-off items before purchasing as all sales are final.
Book Store - None returnable
Art & Sculpture - Made to order/custom made - None returnable
TO REQUEST A RETURN

Please be advised that items returned without first requesting a return will not be accepted nor refunded.
The customer is responsible for the return delivery cost and ensuring that the item is packaged appropriately using the original packaging method and materials it was delivered in to ensure the safe return of the order. For items not in the original packaging a 20% restocking fee will apply. This is due to the item having to go into ex display. Please be aware that until we receive the returned item(s) in its original condition, its safe return is the sole responsibility of the customer and we are not liable to issue a refund until we are in receipt of the item(s). For these reasons, the item(s) must be returned using a trackable service and ideally consider including delivery insurance where possible as La Maison Noire is unable to accept liability for any item(s) lost or damaged in transit.
REFUNDS
Once the returned item(s) are received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you of receipt and status of your refund. Once approved, you will be refunded via the original payment method minus the original delivery cost within 14 days. Please note it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. Should the item be returned in a damaged condition such as due to a result of careless packaging, the return will not be accepted.
DESCRIPTION OF GOODS
We aim to describe items as fully as possible. It should be noted that the items that we are selling listed under Sustainable Living are antique or vintage items and as such, may in some cases have some age-related wear. Although LMN makes every effort to highlight major flaws, minor imperfections should be expected as reflective of the age and previous use of the piece.

Prices for our products may be subject to change at any time and without notice.
ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS
We recommend that all electrical goods are inspected, tested, certified and installed by a qualified electrician. We also recommend that vintage electrical goods are protected by a "RCD". We will not be liable for any loss, injury or death caused by electrical goods that have not been inspected, tested and certified by a qualified electrician
LIABILITY
La Maison Noire Interior's liability for losses is strictly limited to the amount paid by the Customer for a Product or Service. Neither La Maison Noire Interiors nor any affiliate or other representative will be liable for any loss, damage or expense or personal injury arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods or services offered through this website including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of data, income, profit or opportunity, loss or damage to property, personal injury and claims by third parties, even if La Maison Noire Interiors has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage and/or such loss or damage were reasonably foreseeable.
PRIVACY POLICY
We value our customers and take your privacy very seriously. We do not share any personal data collected with any outside agencies or organisation's other than as necessary to complete your business transactions (which includes credit card processing or shipping address).
We retain account information such as email address, name, and address on our system to make your shopping and ordering experience faster and more convenient. Such information can be removed from our system by contacting us directly.
